Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children has a 25-year history of providing feeding programs to children in nearly 70 countries including the United States. Through its distribution partners on the ground, Feed My Starving Children has delivered over 133 million pre-packaged nutritional meals to children who are in the most severe circumstances, those suffering from severe malnutrition and threatened with death from starvation. It has developed a food mixture that is easy and safe to transport, simple to make with only boiling water, and culturally acceptable worldwide. The formula has been proven to save the lives of desperate children as well as to improve the health, growth and wellbeing of children who are no longer in immediate danger of starvation.

Project Peanut Butter

Project Peanut Butter

Project Peanut Butter (PPB) produces and provides ready-to-use therapeutic food to severely malnourished children who, without special treatment, face death. PPB's focuses on Sub-Saharan Africa and is currently working in Malawi, Sierra Leone, Mali and the Philippines. Project Peanut Butter has saved the lives of over 500,000 children with an inexpensive and groundbreaking medical super-food therapy (commonly known as Ready to Use Therapeutic Foods or RUTFs) developed by PPB's founder and Director, Dr. Mark Manary, and delivered through community based designated PPB sites.

In 2007, Project Peanut Butter's approach received commendations from the United Nations, the World Health Organization and UNICEF as the most effective method to treat severely malnourished children. PPB manufactures an average of 1100 tons of Chiponde annually, the high calorie, fortified, good-tasting peanut-butter-like paste, using local farmers whenever possible to produce the raw ingredients. Make a donation directly to Project Peanut Butter to feed starving children.
